LOGO mayfairThe live meeting LTTA (LEARNERS TEACHERS TRAINING ACTIVITIES) of the partners for the approved European strategic partnership program ERASMUS KA2 no. 2019-1-BE01-KA202-050530 entitled MOBILITY FOR ALL: THE FAIR CHOICE was successfully held in the city of Brussels, Belgium from 12/07 until 14/07/2022 by the leader Organization Alphabet Formation ABF.
 
Meeting concerned the coordination of the participants regarding the presentation, design and organization of the MOOC (MASSIVE OPEN ON LINE COURSE) Open Platform tool designed by the partnership partners.
In this partnership which Sivitanidios Public School of Trades and Vocations acts as a partner, for the meeting of Brussels our Institution was duly represented by the teachers of the project team Ms. Halkia Margarita and Ms. Karamalaki Aglaia.

PRESS RELEASE FOR THE MULTIPLIER EVENT HELD ON 19-05-2022

FOR EUROPEAN PROJECT KA2 TITLED MAY FAIR " - MOBILITY FOR ALL THE FAIR CHOICE "

In the well-equipped theater aula at Sivitanidios Public School of Trades and Vocations the multiplier event concerning the European project Erasmus + ΚΑ2, Strategic Partnerships in the field of Vocational Education and Training, entitled "MAY FAIR  - MOBILITY FOR ALL THE FAIR CHOICE ", was successfully held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, with the kind presence of many executives of enterprises in the field of Vocational Education and Training.
The aim of the event was the dialogue of the professional organizations with the student community about the necessity for the most complete education, training and expertise of the learners at the Vocational Education.
On the occasion of the participation of the students of the 3rd Vocational Lyceum at Sivitanidios Public School of Trades and Vocations, in the European work based learning program Erasmus + in Limassol, Cyprus in January 2022, the main focus of the suggestions was on ways of connecting Vocational Education with the labor market both in Greece and abroad.
The project will be implemented by 31.08.2022 and aims at designing, testing and developing a strategic methodology, useful for strengthening the internationalization of Vocational Education and Training Institutions and then the recognition and validation of Learning Outcomes resulting from Work Based Learning (WBL) through mobility abroad.
The participation of the Sivitanidios Public School of Trades and Vocations concerns the pilot activities of the project to test these tools that are being developed at the transnational mobility during the project as well as the international meetings for the monitoring of the program by representatives of the project team. In January 2022 the mobility of 15 students of the 3rd EPAL SDSTE from different specialties for the period of three (03) weeks in Limassol, Cyprus was effected with the object of placing them in companies corresponding to their specialty.

The Erasmus+ KA1, under approved project number 2020-1-EL01-KA116-077854, learning mobility program was successfully completed with the participation of 15 students of the Applied Arts sector, Marine Engineering sector and Mechanical Engineering Sector from the 2nd and 3rd grade of the 3rd Vocational Lyceum of Sivitanidios Public School of Trades and Vocations-SDSTE- with the accompaniment of 3 teachers.

Main program purpose was the work placement of the participants in enterprises related to the subject of their specialty, in the city of Limassol in Cyprus at the host organization PLATO EDUCATIONAL SERVICES during the period from 07/01/2022 until 21/01/2022.
This mobility applied the tool-based methodology MAKe developed through the approved European Program strategic partnership of ERASMUS+ Action KA2 partners entitled MaYFAir, setting with the aim of recording the learning results for mobilities that are based on work (WBL mobilities).
At the end of the mobility, participants received certificates of attendance for their excellent performance.

Methodological Kit, an innovative methodological toolkit for mobility promoters providing guidance on the design and management of WBL mobilities based on learning outcomes that can be referenced to the different national systems.

The toolkit will provide clear guidelines for the mobility promoters in order to support them in all the different phases of a mobility and ensure the recognition and validation, for the purpose of certification, of qualifications achieved in WBL mobility paths.

The toolkit is available in every language of the consortium, and the final publication on the project website makes it an OER freely accessible.
